BOOKING PROCESS
All quotes issued by The French Route are dependent on the availability of the requested services. To initiate the process, clients must complete the request form located on the website, or send an email at bonjour@thefrenchroute.com or at louis@thefrenchroute.com, or give us a phone call or WhatsApp call or send us a text message or a WhatsApp message at +33 6 07 32 20 77 after which The French Route will send a quote to the customer. The French Route may require more details from the Customer in order to draft the quote. This quote is subject to availability. If the Customer decides to proceed with the booking, The French Route will verify the availability of the desired Services and will notify the Customer via email. To secure the booking, the customer is required to pay either a deposit or the full travel cost as stated in the quote and outlined in the payment policy paragraph of these terms and conditions. After payment is received, The French Route will confirm the booking and issue an invoice to the customer. If the requested Service is not available, The French Route will inform the customer by email and the booking will be canceled. The customer will receive a full refund, without any compensation. However, The French Route will make every effort to suggest alternative services of equal value and provide the customer with a new quote. The travel service booking will be confirmed once a deposit or the full travel service price is received via the secure payment system used by The French Route or via bank transfer.
PAYMENT POLICY
When booking a Service with The French Route, customers are required to pay a deposit of 30% of the total Trip costs and optional cancellation insurance or insurance coverage (if applicable). The remaining balance must be paid without any reminder from The French Route at least 30 days prior to departure date. If payment is not made within the prescribed time period, travel services and travel documents will be suspended, and the costs incurred will be at the customer’s expense. If you book less than 30 days prior to departure, you must pay the full price of the travel arrangements when you book with us. Payment may be made by bank transfer, check (provided there is enough time to clear the check) or by any major credit card acceptable to us. Full payment can be required more than 30 days prior to departure date whenever it is stated within the quote issued by The French Route or within the email to which the quote is attached. Checks must be sent by registered mail to the head office of The French Route at 12 rue de Miromesnil, 75008 Paris, France. The French Route reserves the right to request photocopies of the credit or debit card used for payment, as well as photocopies of the passport and/or identity card of the cardholder and the passenger(s), to combat credit or debit card fraud.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Should the client want to cancel the booking, he must do so via email sent at bonjour@thefrenchroute.com or at louis@thefrenchroute.com. If the cancellation happens at least 60 days before the scheduled departure or commencement time, he will receive a full refund for all services except entrance tickets to any tourist site, event tickets, train and flight tickets and any other service that does not involve refund as stated in the booking confirmation. However, The French Route will do its best to reschedule the customer’s Trip, subject to our business practices and the availability of our guides and tickets. If the customer misses or skips the original booking, The French Route reserves the right to charge full price for new Tour bookings. The French Route may also decline rescheduling if we receive notification less than four weeks before the Trip start time. When booking any third-party service through The French Travel, the customer agrees to abide by the specific cancellation policy provided by the service provider – through The French Route or directly to the customer – at the time of booking.
