This 7-day/6-night trip combines what we love the most amongst the highlights of Paris, and ends with a 2-night escapade in the Champagne region.
Day 1 - Arrival, LEISURE TIME & Dinner with Hosts
Upon arrival at Paris airport, our private driver will take you to your accommodation (about a 1-hour drive). After settling in, a team member will meet you at your hotel to provide you with information about your stay and address any questions you may have.
In the afternoon, explore Paris at your own pace, guided by personalized suggestions.
Your first Parisian dinner will be hosted in a private home where your host will prepare a famous French dish and curate a selection of wine and cheese. This experience offers you the opportunity to immerse yourself in Parisian culture and the French way of life.
Day 2 - Louvre, Sainte-Chapelle, Quartier Latin & DINNER CRUISE
After breakfast, meet your private guide at the Louvre. Explore its key treasures, including the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and Napoleon III apartments.
In the afternoon, visit Sainte-Chapelle to admire its 13th-century stained glass. Then, rendezvous with your guide at Parvis Notre-Dame, for a brief introduction to Notre-Dame (closed till late 2024). Explore the historic Latin Quarter, with notable sites like Sorbonne University, Panthéon, and Rue Mouffetard.
End your first full day with a Seine River dinner cruise.
Day 3 - Versailles & Eiffel Tower
A driver will take you from your hotel to Versailles, where you will spend half a day visiting the beautiful Palace and its equally famous gardens.
You will return to Paris in the early afternoon for a late lunch. Afterward, you can spend the rest of the day at your own convenience. We can also arrange something special, such as a photo shoot next to the Eiffel Tower.
Day 4 - Montmartre, Pastry Tasting & LEISURE TIME
After breakfast, meet your private guide in Montmartre, known for its charming streets and the Sacré-Cœur Basilica. While exploring, enjoy some Parisian pastries.
Day 5 - OPÉRA GARNIER, COVERED PASSAGES & LE MARAIS
After breakfast, you will meet your guide at the Opéra Garnier for a tour of this stunning nineteenth century opera. It gained notoriety for serving as the idea for the novel and later musical The Phantom of the Opera.
After the visit, you will walk to the nearby passages couverts (covered passages) from here. These lively alleyways, built at the same time as the Opera, were meant to provide clean and covered commercial places. They now house traditional little cafés and eateries, as well as retailers.
After lunch, you will be free to explore at your own convenience Le Marais, a quaint old Parisian district.
Day 6 - REIMS CATHEDRAL, CHAMPAGNE CELLAR TOUR & TASTING
After an early breakfast, our private driver will take you to the train station for a 45 minute train ride to Reims in first class.
Upon arrival in Reims, dive into history with an exclusive tour of the magnificent Reims Cathedral, a true marvel of Gothic architecture, where 33 kings of France were crowned.
After lunch, continue your day with a private tour of the famous Veuve Clicquot cellar, ending with a delightful champagne tasting experience. If you have any preferred Champagne, we can leverage on our network to organize a visit.
Finally, you will do a short transfer (20 to 30 minutes) in a private car to your hotel in the Champagne region.
Day 7 - LEISURE TIME & DEPARTURE
After breakfast, you will be free to enjoy the hotel facilities at your own convenience. Our driver will take you to the train station for a 30-minute train to the airport.
